Week Night Carry Class, 6/22 and 6/24/09Member Bob Amey will be conducting a combinationMinnesota and Utah Carry Permit training session at theclub on Monday, June 22nd from 5:30 to 10:00 andWednesday, June 24th from 5:30 to 8:00. Upon completionof this course, students will receive certificates for bothstates. Combined with the state permits from Minnesotaand Utah, that will give the student the right to carry inapproximately 31 states if the student resides in Wisconsinor approximately 34 states if the student is a Minnesotaresident. The Utah permit is available by mail BUT only ifyou take a Utah approved curriculum from a Utahcertified instructor. Bob’s class is Utah approved and heis a certified instructor for Minnesota, Utah, NRA andMinnesota DNR. Bob’s last class filled early, so registersoon if interested. Bob will add classes as needed.The fee for this class is $100.00 of which $25.00 comesback to the club as rental income. Thenew rules regarding your right to carry in national parksand monuments went into effect in December of 2008. InMarch of 2009, a judge issued an injunction against carryin national parks and monument. You may not carry innational parks and monuments until this injunction islifted
